Safe
Harbor elementary students are participating in Build the Change, a LEGO Social
Impact program that encourages students to use play and imagination to design a
better future. Through this initiative, students build scale models of
inclusive and accessible spaces using LEGO bricks and other materials,
demonstrating their ideas for more welcoming and equitable environments.
To
showcase their work, each school will host an event where students present
their projects to staff and families. A special event will take place at
Edgewood Elementary School will provide students with the opportunity to
highlight their innovations to a broader audience.
