On Saturday, April 12th from 9am to 1pm CDT, Friendship Botanic Gardens will host its annual "Wake Up The Gardens" Volunteer Work Day.

The Gardens are seeking volunteers to help rake, weed, and clean brush and debris so that the grounds can look their best for the May 1st season opening.

Light refreshments will be provided. Volunteers are asked to bring their own rakes and work gloves if possible. This event will occur rain or shine so please dress for the weather.

"Wake Up The Gardens" is a terrific opportunity to get involved, meet our volunteers, and for students or Master Gardeners to collect volunteer hours.
