Horizon Bank Announces Amy Phares as AVP, Public Relations & Social Media Manager
Cindy Pressinell, SVP, Marketing and Human Resource Officer is
proud to announce the promotion of Amy Phares to Assistant Vice President, Public
Relations and Social Media Manager. In this leadership position, Phares drives
the company's publicity and social media strategy to help define Horizon’s
brand and elevate its online presence.
Since joining Horizon in 2015, Phares has been responsible for
curating and sharing timely, relevant content on social media, driving
engagement, and managing online conversations to enhance the company’s
reputation. Her efforts have resulted in increased brand awareness,
positive media coverage, and strengthened relationships with investors, stakeholders,
and customers. Phares leads the coordination of advertising materials for
community sponsorships within the company. Additionally, she ensures the
seamless execution of large, high-profile in-person and virtual events. As the
Investor Relations liaison on the Marketing team, she helps develop strategic
external communications that align with company goals and enhance the
organization’s image.
Phares earned her BA in Communications from Purdue University,
West Lafayette, along with a minor in Art & Design and Technical Graphics. She
is a member of Horizon’s Culture Advisory Board and the Horizon Cares Day planning
committee.
