Pine Elementary School invites you to attend its 2nd & 3rd grade Showcase on Wednesday, December 18 at 6:00pm. The showcase theme is "Be The Change" and it will feature dance, drama, and choral performances about the Michigan City community and the MCAS Habits of Character. 

It will also feature a presentation centering on the life and legacy of Michigan City suffragist Naomi Anderson and artwork by Pine 3rd graders, who have illustrated a book by local author Cheryl Chapman, "Turn It Around: The Life and Words of Naomi Anderson." Thanks to support from the Rotary Club of Michigan City and the Unity Foundation, copies of this book will be provided to every third-grade classroom in Michigan City next semester.

Pine is inviting community leaders and supporters of the Naomi Anderson project to be there, and we hope you can be there to cover it!
