Leadership La Porte County invites the community to its “Non-Profit Spotlight & Volunteer Expo” on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at the FOP Dunes Lodge #75 (416 US Highway 20). This free event allows attendees to explore volunteer opportunities with local non-profit organizations. Vendor spaces are still available for non-profits, with a $30 fee for exhibitors.
This event aims to connect local non-profits with citizens interested in giving back. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about organizations across La Porte County and explore ways to contribute their unique skills and passions. Families are welcome, and it’s a great way for youth to fulfill community service hour requirements.
“Non-profit organizations provide essential services to those in need,” said Monica Komasinski, Executive Director of Leadership La Porte County. “This event highlights the impact of our non-profit community and offers them a chance to connect with others to foster collaboration and awareness.” She added, “Many organizations form new partnerships and shared initiatives through this event.”
