Union Pier, MI (July 20, 2024) - Touted as ‘The Best Party of the Year in Harbor Country,’ the Michiana Humane Society’s summer fundraiser is its highest attended annual event, raising life-saving funds for the animals of the shelter.
Included with the ticket price, guests enjoy an open bar, passed hors d’oeuvres from Classic Catering, live music from the Soul Motown Allstars Band, a thrilling auction and raffle - all among the backdrop of a stunning private property in Union Pier.

There will be a live auction starting at 6:30pm which will include once-in-a-lifetime experiences like a week’s vacation in Telluride, Colorado or Charlevoix, Michigan. Also up for bid is dinner for ten with wine pairings at Terrace Room in New Buffalo as well as a dinner party catered by local ‘Outsider Chefs’ at an historic equestrian estate. Plus several more exciting offerings. Hatch a plan with your friends and family to co-op bids for the benefit of shelter pets!  

NEW THIS YEAR: The event will include 15 silent auction items to compete among friends to win! Items include sand sculpting lessons from Janet Schroider, a local winery tour for 2 chauffeured in a Cadillac Escalade, a handmade ceramic birdbath, a Pedego e-bike and a painting from Frank Kurland, to name a few.

This year's raffle prize is a pair of kayaks from Tractor Supply in LaPorte, IN paired with goodies to take your dog along on the paddle. Raffle tickets are $50. Purchase your tickets and test your luck! Cash is encouraged to bring for raffle tickets.
