Women's History Month Exhibit 

Visit the Museum during March to learn about the many women's clubs and societies of La Porte County. This exhibit will be on display the entire month of March.

Kingsford Heights History Pop-Up

Learn about Kingsford Heights in the second of our 'Towns of La Porte County Pop-Up' exhibits. Highlights include KOP, local businesses, and the fascinating history of the town itself. This exhibit will be on display from March 1 to March 30.

Kingsford Heights Free Admission Day

All Kingsford Heights residents will receive Free Admission to the Museum on Saturday, March 9! Come see the Kingsford Heights Pop-Up exhibit to learn more about your town!

Historical Society Meeting

Chris Maniel, a librarian at the La Porte County Public Library, will be presenting the program "The Lost Towns of La Porte County" on Tuesday, March 19. This program will begin at 7pm at the Museum. We hope to see everyone there!

Museum Closed for Good Friday

The La Porte County Historical Society Museum will be closed on Friday, March 29.

Endangered Heritage Traveling Exhibit

This traveling exhibit from the Indiana Historical Society promotes the need to properly care for Museum collections to continue preserving local history. Learn about the different ways to protect collections and the dangers that they face. This exhibit will be on display until April 2.
