He also directs community outreach programming for Regional Care Group.In partnership with Indiana Department of Child Services, Neal has expanded services though Community Partners for Child Safety, Regions 1 and 2-covering Lake, Porter, La Porte, Benton, Jasper, Newton, Pulaski and Starke Counties. The Real Fathers Initiative, successfully established by Neal, has served over 2,000 fathers since its inception in 2009. With Neal’s perseverance, the Abuse Intervention Management program in Lake County became the first state-certified batterer’s program in Indiana. Before joining Geminus in 2009, Nicholas Neal served as a police officer and supervisor for a therapeutic foster care agency. Currently, he also serves as an adjunct professor in criminal justice.
