The Lubeznik Center for the Arts is hosting a reception Tuesday, April 15, 4:30-6:30 p.m. to celebrate the opening of Michigan City Area Schools elementary students’ “Art from the Start” exhibit. The display, located in the Hyndman Gallery on the center’s 2nd floor, is open from April 8 to May 6, 2025, including the works of students ranging from kindergarten to grade 6. The exhibit will consist of both 2-D and 3-D pieces in a variety of mediums such as paint, clay, chalk pastels, and paper.
