Cindy Pressinell, SVP, Marketing and Human Resources Officer, is excited to announce the promotion of Lora Hixon, SPHR to Assistant Vice President, Human Resources Officer.

In her role as AVP, Human Resources Officer, Hixon will oversee the company's compensation strategy, payroll systems, and the management of HR policies and procedures that support the organization’s growth and ensure regulatory and legal compliance. Hixon is also responsible for leadership of the company’s Human Resource administrative support team.

During her tenure at Horizon, and as a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources, Hixon has been a key contributor to the Human Resources team, bringing over a decade of experience across multiple HR disciplines. Hixon has been instrumental in driving HR initiatives and compensation strategies forward.

In addition to her professional achievements, Hixon is an active member of the community. She currently serves as an administrator as well as a leader for both pre-school and youth group at Harvest Time Church of God, and took part in a mission trip to Mexico with her husband and son. She has volunteered locally for the Salvation Army and Building LaPorte County.
