Larson-Danielson Construction is proud to announce the launch of its Winter Food Drive, taking place throughout January, to support local communities in Northern Indiana. With a challenging food insecurity rate affecting approximately 100,000 residents—one in every six individuals—our mission is to make a substantial impact by collecting over 2,025 food items for five local food pantries by January 31.
In the spirit of community and compassion, Larson-Danielson invites community members, local businesses, and organizations to contribute. Your donations will directly benefit the following food pantries, each serving a critical role in their respective counties:
Every can, box,
or bag of food you donate can make a world of difference for families in need.
By coming together, we can ensure no one in our community goes hungry this
season.
Food insecurity
remains a critical issue in Northern Indiana, with LaPorte, Starke, and St.
Joseph counties reporting rates higher than the national average. LaPorte
County, in particular, faces a child food insecurity rate 36.3% above the
national average, highlighting the urgent need for action.
Larson-Danielson
is seeking support from the community in our food drive effort, either through
donations or raising awareness. Donations of non-perishable food items can be dropped
off weekdays between 8 AM and 4 PM CT at 302 Tyler Street in La Porte.
Together, we can
build a stronger, more compassionate community. We deeply appreciate your
support and generosity in making this food drive a success.
