Position Overview:

The Dispatch and Guest Services Concierge is the first point of contact for guests and plays a critical role in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. You’ll handle incoming requests for rides, bookings, and private events, and will be responsible for dispatching drivers promptly and efficiently. Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to top-tier customer service are essential in this role.

This position is fully remote and operates during scheduled hours to accommodate ride requests and bookings for Michigan City (MC) and New Buffalo (NB).

Requirements

Guest Engagement:

    • Respond immediately to all ride requests via phone, text, or email.
    • Engage guests with courtesy and professionalism, ensuring a positive first impression.
    • Obtain accurate and detailed information, including pickup locations and times, to ensure smooth operations.

Driver Dispatch:

    • Document incoming rider requests in the call booking and dispatch log.
    • Use the GetHapn app to dispatch the nearest driver to the requested location.
    • Coordinate with drivers via text to their personal phones to arrange timely pickups.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues when drivers and riders have difficulty connecting.

Booking Coordination:

    • Forward any requests for private bookings or events to the Event Coordinator for follow-up.
    • Arrange pickup schedules for planned bookings, ensuring all details are confirmed with both drivers and guests.

Post-Ride Follow-Up:

    • Follow up with guests by text after their ride to gather feedback.
    • Request Google reviews from guests who provide positive feedback.
    • Share the guest’s positive feedback with your supervisor via email or text at the end of the shift.
    • Document and report any negative feedback to your supervisor immediately for resolution.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills with a courteous and professional demeanor.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately document information.
  • Ability to work independently and respond promptly to requests within a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with technology, including apps like GetHapn, texting platforms, and email applications.
  • Reliable and able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Previous experience in customer service, dispatch, or hospitality is preferred.

Schedule (TBD and Subject to Change):

  • Michigan City (MC): Thursday–Sunday, 5:00 PM–8:00 PM; Friday–Saturday, 5:00 PM–11:00 PM
  • New Buffalo (NB): Monday–Sunday, 10:00 AM–9:00 PM EST
