United Way of La Porte County proudly announces the launch of its new initiative, the "Level Up La Porte County" program, designed to empower local residents to achieve financial stability and career advancement.
"The Level Up La Porte County program offers comprehensive support to help individuals build a stable and fulfilling career," said Kris Pate, President and CEO of United Way of La Porte County. "The program includes financial education to maximize current and future resources, guidance to plan and navigate personal career paths, one-on-one support to eliminate barriers, assistance in bridging educational and training gaps, and access to career-advancing items and services," she added.
According to Dave Sisk, United Way’s Director of Corporate Engagement, "Participants will gain access to job training programs, career counseling services, job placement assistance, and much more, paving the way for greater financial stability."
To qualify for the Level Up La Porte County program, applicants must be currently employed, must make a commitment to completing all program requirements by working one-on-one with Level Up staff, must be a resident of La Porte County, must be 18 years old or older, must have reliable transportation, must have a valid Indiana driver's license, and must fall within the program income requirement levels.
If these requirements are met, the Level Up program could be an excellent fit. If not, United Way of La Porte County is committed to assisting individuals in finding other local resources.
