1100 Adults, Children Attended Haunted Trails at Friendship Botanic Gardens on Sunday, October 16
Michigan City, IN
10/25/2022 11:52 AM

Children and families dressed in their best Halloween attire as they strolled the winding haunted trails, stopping at the 13 trick-or-treat stations along the way. Visitors also stopped by the Symphony Garden to play Halloween games, decorate their own pumpkin, and get temporary tattoos. Ten children were awarded special prizes for the 10 best costumes.

This event could not have been possible without the support of the incredible 63 volunteers who donated their time. One hundred pumpkins were donated in total from Dinges Fall Harvest, Coulter's Farm Produce & Greenhouses, and Burek Farms.

Thank you to Lochner Engineering for partnering with Friendship Botanic Gardens on this event, providing 21 volunteers from their organization.

Haunted Trails & Family Fall Fest is one of several holiday-themed events for children and families held annually at Friendship Botanic Gardens. The final event of the 2022 season at Friendship Botanic Gardens is the Gobble Gobble Turkey Walk, which will take place on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 24, from 11-1 p.m.
