are proud to welcome new team members, celebrate those advancing in their
careers, and recognize outstanding performance and commitment to quality and
excellence.
In 2024, we were honored to welcome a total of 114 new employees to our team. Each of these individuals have brought diverse skills and experience to Larson-Danielson, both in the office and in the field.
We are also excited to announce the following
promotions that reflect the dedication and expertise of our team members:
Stacy Bibian was promoted to Project Engineer
in September. Since joining L-D in 1997, Stacy has consistently demonstrated
exceptional dedication, and we are confident she will continue to excel in her
new role at the WCC jobsite.
Jen Waltz has transitioned to the role of PA
Department Manager. Since 2006, Jen's commitment and leadership have propelled
our team forward, and we anticipate her continued success.
Finally, we are pleased to recognize the
exceptional performance of several employees this year via our internal awards.
In addition to her promotion this year, Jen
Waltz was honored as the 2024 recipient of the Marilyn Alm Award. The Marilyn
Alm Award was established in 2021. The award is named for Marilyn, who retired
from Larson-Danielson after 35 years with the company as an office manager. The
award is given to office personnel in recognition of exceptional dedication,
commitment to improvement, and outstanding performance. Stacy Bibian was the
2021 recipient of the award.
Jeff Reed has been recognized as the 2024
recipient of the John Simmons Award. The John Simmons Award for Excellence in
Supervision was established in 2006. John Simmons was a field supervisor who
had worked for Larson-Danielson for 14 years when he passed away in 2005. The
John Simmons Award is given to field personnel who embody the following
characteristics: Safety, Customer Service, Quality, Productivity, Ethical
Behavior, and a Team Attitude.
Finally, newly created in 2024, the Star
Safety Crew recognition highlights field personnel's outstanding commitment to
safety. The
first winners are Brett Schacht, a project superintendent; Cory Buckmaster, a
laborer; and carpenters, Tim Kearney and Phil Piontek. These individuals
exemplify our core value of uncompromising safety on the job site.
At Larson-Danielson, we truly believe that our people are our greatest asset. We are honored to acknowledge their contributions and achievements and to celebrate these remarkable individuals who drive our success and uphold the values that define our company.
