One of the benefits of participating in Rotary has been the speakers program at each meeting. In that spirit Rotary, as a club, is initiating the Movers & Shakers Speaker Series. The goal is to bring community leaders to a public conversation about the current state of our city, as well as what the future holds. What’s more we are opening the series to the public as a Rotary service project. Anyone interested in Michigan City quality of life is invited to attend.
Now is the time for you to return to Rotary! Bring a colleague! Mark your calendars! Meetings still take place on Thursdays at noon but now at The Salvation Army of Michigan City, 1202 Franklin Street. We still have delicious catered lunches! Those attending may bring lunch or a catered lunch is available for a $15 donation.
The series kicks off Thursday, February 23 with Skyler York of the Michigan City Redevelopment Commission as the featured speaker.

May 11, Dale Cooper to speak on La Porte County tourism
May 18, Matt Kubik to discuss the social and economic impact of public art in Michigan City
