Nanette Birmingham, Director, Sales Support, Sullair LLC

Nan Birmingham is the Director of Sales Support for Sullair, LLC in Michigan City. Birmingham has worked for Sullair for more than 40 years in varying roles of increasing responsibility. Beginning in accounting, she moved to aftermarket operations running the warehouse, order entry and more. In 2014 she moved to her current role in Customer Service, anxious to take a position that would challenge her skill set. While overseeing the customer service team, Birmingham created a customer response team to improve customer support and was instrumental in the centralizing of the service, training, and other customer-facing teams, all of which she currently oversees.

Birmingham’s management style is akin to coaching a team. Inspired by training courses on coaching she took in preparation for her first management role, Birmingham assumed the role of mentor with her teams at Sullair. She attributes this approach to her success.

Birmingham has lived in Michigan City for more than 35 years, raising two children. She enjoys working out, attending sporting events, going to the beach, an avid IU fan and spending time with her family and friends. Birmingham holds a B.S. in Accounting from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.
