Amber Ward
Product Development Manager

Amber Ward graduated from New Prairie High School in 2010 and started her career at Peepers one year later. Even though it was her first job, she caught on quickly and was always eager to learn more. She loves the culture at Peepers and how everyone feels like family. Several of Amber’s family members have also had roots at Peepers – her mom worked here when she was pregnant with Amber back in 1991. Amber has had several roles within the company over the years and started out in the warehouse picking, packing, and shipping orders, as well as receiving inventory. Before finding her home in the product development department in 2016, she had her hand on the back end of the website, photographing product, and was a liaison between the warehouse and the office. Amber was promoted to Product Development Manager in December 2020 and manages two people in her department. She did not have a background in eyewear when she first joined Peepers but is now a self-proclaimed expert and enjoys holding product trainings for team members that want to learn more. She really enjoys the excitement that comes with developing “the next best thing” at Peepers. Being a part of the Peepers culture and working with the many great “teachers” of the company has shaped Amber into who she is today. When she is not working on developing the new collection for the next season, she enjoys spending time with her family and pets, playing piano, antiquing, seeing musicals, and collecting records.
